Another language

I wonder if my blog was written in different language if I would get anymore viewers? Just something to think about. Also, what type of postings would attract viewers? Are viewers attracted by the title of a blog?

Good morning to all my followers...to date I have none! lol That's fine this is my journal basically for me to keep track of what has happened in my life, the past, the present and into the future. It would be nice to have more fonts available. I like to change things up! I need to get some tea and toast and start my day...
 

Yesterday and Today

Sigh...so far I'm not doing very well in keeping up with my posts. Seems I always have plenty to say, probably too much at times but I want to keep at this. I named this blog Annie and the Mad Hatter because I love hats! I have always loved them and as I grew older I started a collection of vintage hats. I took them into work and let my clients, developmentally disabled, wear them. It was great fun! Since I retired I have had to curb my passion for hats and stay off eBay! I'm sure that will change when I get on a budget that I can handle. 

Yesterday I sat for my two grandchildren, Tyler and Hayley, while their mom went to the doctor. I had so much fun and really enjoyed their visit. I love the fact that now when my girls need someone to watch the grandchildren I can without having to consult a work schedule. 




Today I attended the funeral of a beloved client. I wasn't able to be with her before she passed but I know in my heart she knew I was there for her. The service was beautiful and I truly felt the presence of God. The cemetery where she was laid to rest was so serene and peaceful. The family invited me to the restaurant following the service to join in the celebration of her life. I am thankful I was part of her life...

Tomorrow is another day and another adventure!

I will be adding new posts as the mood strikes and how my day/evening is progressing. For now I need to get something accomplished before the moon rises!

2009 Blog Creation

I created this Blog in 2009 and I think I started it shortly after my husband of almost 40 years passed away. As I recall my thinking at the time was to record each day my feelings, thoughts, and reflections. That never happened and here I am three years later and one month thinking now is the time to start recording my thoughts etc. not only on my marriage but the many things that have transpired since his passing. This will also be a record for my grandchildren to refer to as time passes and I am no longer on this earth but with them in spirit.
